Ford Upfitters Desktop Scan is a system used to track inventory at multiple Ford Upfitter sites. It combines an Intermec 700 handheld unit and an Intermec 1800 hand scanner to keep detailed records and locations of specialized inventory in the Ford Fleet. TSPS is working to upgrade this system to use XML data transfer and real-time data transfer.
